Have you been struggling with hair thinning or hair falling out? In this video I share the basic supplements I recommend to increase hair growth naturally. One of my patient’s hair started growing so thick and beautiful after being on a supplement and herbal protocol. I thought it might help some of you who are having hair thinning to share what products we use.
It’s really traumatic to have your hair come out in clumps. I’ve seen many people who have a stressful event and then their hair starts falling out and it’s so upsetting. There can be many causes and you have to get checked out to make sure it’s not your thyroid, but being on a good supplement regime is important to overall health and can improve your hair.
I’ve also seen many people who decide to go vegan and then their hair starts thinning. Making sure you are getting enough protein has solved this problem for some vegans that I’ve seen. They have to supplement with protein shakes and really count the number of grams of protein consumed each day. I like whey protein but you can use any vegan one as well. There is pea, rice, hemp, pumpkin seed and sprouted grains. For ladies, making sure you get at least 70 grams of protein is a good place to start. I started consuming 100 grams because I started lifting weights and my hair started growing much thicker. I find some vegans are only getting 40-50 grams of protein per day, which is not enough.
Good nutrition with a healthy diet and supplement program is the foundation of having thick, healthy hair. Try to eat the best, most fresh, healthy vegetables and fruits you can and make sure you are taking the basic supplements to make sure you don’t have any deficiencies.
